Gamelan
(Source:goodnewsfromindonesia.id, 2019) Gamelan is a indigenous orchestra type with traditional instruments from Java island and Bali. The gamelan ensemble is made up of sixteen bronze xylophones, several gongs and gong-chimes, drums, metallophones, cymbals, and bamboo flutes—over forty instruments in total. The gamelan is usually used to accompany theatrical performances, or wayang. I have tried to play gamelan when I had a road trips with my high school friends to Yogyakarta. Playing gamelan is a little bit hard because you need to make sure that everyone knows what to do. However, it was a fun experience.
